Planning preparation around two coil positions

A double-head decoiler concept considers preparation and production across two separate mandrel positions. Which preparation tasks may take place while production continues is defined for the project together with the control and safety design.

Describe the changeover workflow

Document where the coil is prepared, how it is loaded, how the heads change position and how the strip is threaded into the line. Any changeover-time target should cover the complete operation rather than only the machine’s movement.

Layout and operating range

Show the movement space of both coil positions, loading equipment and operator access in a measured layout. Provide coil width, weight and diameter ranges together with information about the downstream feeder. Rotation and positioning arrangements are clarified in the technical quotation.
